Broadcast between the Chattanooga RailRunners & St. Louis Hawks on Saturday, May 17

CBA LogoAsheville, NC – Chris Schieman Media and Marketing is adding to its growing list of clients. It has reached an agreement with the Central Basketball Association (CBA) to broadcast its upcoming playoff game(s) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Game one features the Chattanooga RailRunners and the St. Louis Hawks. The game will start with special pre-game coverage on Saturday, May 17th at 6:50 p.m.

Leading the play-by-play and production of the broadcast is Chris Schieman. “The CBA is a quality professional league,” Schieman said. “We have been trying to get together all season and I can’t wait to bring a quality broadcast to this exciting playoff matchup.”

Schieman has been impressed with the young league’s leadership this season. “The CBA understands how to put quality basketball on the court and they seem to care about their marketing in a way that most other professional basketball leagues don’t,” Schieman said. “Demanding excellence on the court as well as off the court is a great sign of leadership and I can’t wait to help expand the CBA’s marketing efforts.”

The CBA has contracted Chris Schieman Media and Marketing to broadcast another playoff game in Chattanooga on May 31st should the RailRunners advance to the championship game. The agreement allows fans to view the playoff game or games for free and will include interviews at halftime and post-game as well as interactive graphics.

Fans are encouraged to interact with the broadcast on social media using the hash tag #CBAHoops on Twitter and Facebook. “Fan interaction is a big part of what we want to bring to this important game,” Schieman said. “It’s a Saturday night and I expect the supporters of both teams to be very vocal. My goal is to always make the fans feel like they’re a part of the action, even if they can’t make it to the game in-person.”

Fans can watch all the action starting May 17th at 6:50 p.m. by visiting the CBA’s website:
