IWFL to Stream 2016 Post-Season Action

IWFLlogoCharlotte, NC – Chris Schieman Media & Marketing is pleased to announce it will return as the official broadcast partner with the Independent Women’s Football League for the second straight season.

Chris Schieman will broadcast all four IWFL post-season contests on July 22-23 in Charlotte, North Carolina. All of the action will take place at West Mecklenburg High School Stadium. Each game will be available live and on-demand on the IWFL YouTube page for fans to enjoy for free.

“I’m thrilled the IWFL welcomed me back as their broadcaster this summer,” owner Chris Schieman said. “It was a great joy to interact with the fans last year and I plan on working hard to ensure fans of women’s tackle football will have the best possible viewing-experience in July. The IWFL is the premier women’s league and I will work hard to ensure a broadcast-experience that reflects their professionalism.”

The broadcasts include special enhanced coverage during the 2016 IWFL Championship on Saturday at 6pm. That broadcast, produced in conjunction with Neptune Media Group, will include multi-camera shots and other enhanced graphics to bring fans closer than ever to the action.

“I’m glad Neptune Media can help give fans of the championship teams a terrific broadcast,” Schieman said. “The players that reach the championship deserve to be rewarded for their hard work and this broadcast will reflect their dedication to the game.”

IWFL post-season coverage kicks off Friday with the Affiliate Bowl at 1pm, followed by the Founder’s Bowl at 7pm. Coverage on Saturday starts with the IWFL All-Star Game at 10am.

Like last season, fan interaction is encouraged during all broadcasts, with selected comments making it on-air. Fans will be welcome to interact on Twitter, Facebook and other social media using the hashtag #IWFL.
