There are a lot of people and companies that can create pro and college recruiting videos. I pride myself on offering some of the lowest rates, and fastest turnaround times. But the biggest advantage in using my services is that I actually work in college athletics! I have worked directly with college coaches since I was in college myself, in 2001. When I give you a recommendation, or piece of advice, it’s coming directly from college coaches. While some other companies try to up-sell you, I understand that simple videos that are to the point are what coaches want. I have surveyed over 200 coaches from all different collegiate levels and sports so that I can guide you in the right direction for you, not the most profitable for me.

Sports Highlight Video Cost
My professional sports video editing services start at $150 per video. You send me game links, or upload your videos to the cloud, email me the time stamps of the highlights that you want included in the reel, and a picture and some info about the athlete, and I will create your custom video!
*Additional costs may be necessary for clips that need to be re-edited/re-formatted for a professional video. The most common cause for extra fees is clips that were done on a phone. Please try to avoid using free video editing apps on a phone to clip your highlights.
Highlight Video Cost Breakdown:
10 highlights: $150 per video (typically too short for recruiting)
15 highlights: $200 per video (minimum recommended by coaches for recruiting)
20 highlights: $250 per video
25 highlights: $300 per video (maximum recommended by coaches for recruiting)
35 highlights: $400 per video (not recommended for recruiting)

When emailing or texting please include: the athlete’s name, sport, how many highlights you need, from how many games. Also please include if you have timestamps on full videos, or if you have clips that need to be arranged.

What is included in the college recruiting video?
- Each sports highlight video includes an Intro/outro player card with important athlete information, stats, awards, contact info, etc.
- Circle or arrow on the athlete to help coaches easily ID the athlete, creating using a jump cut to draw the attention directly to the athlete
- Ordering of the highlights to help keep coaches engaged (free upon request)
- Your video uploaded to YouTube with proper SEO to attract coaches
- Fast turnaround, professional service
Will you watch the games and pick the plays for us?
Yes! If you’re struggling with the time, or knowledge to pick the highlights yourself, I am happy to step in and take this off your plate! The typical cost starts at $450, in addition to the prices above to create the recruiting video itself. I will review full game footage and pick out the best 15 plays.
How long should my highlight video be?
For recruiting, 3-4 minutes (15-20 highlights). Any longer than that, you’re paying me for highlights the coach will not see!
What quality video can you work with?
At minimum, 720p, and up to 4k. Do not record clips on your phone using a 3rd party app. It will produce terrible quality video!
How do I cut my own clips?
If you’re asking me, you probably shouldn’t. But, use a desktop/laptop (NEVER the phone!) with a program like iMovie or any free video editing software.
Which clips should be included?
Remember the “highlight” part of the highlight video. Each clip should be chosen carefully. Only the best of the best 15-20 plays! Having a hard time choosing? I offer consulting services to take the guess-work off your plate!
How do we send you the video?
Ideally, you send me the links to each game, with times where the plays are. Only attempt to cut video yourself if you know what you’re doing. Google Drive is the best option to send me clips.
You said don’t edit the video on a phone, but can we record on a phone?
Definitely! Today’s cell phone cameras produce great video quality. No need to purchase an expensive camcorder.
How fast do we get the completed video?
Most of my Google reviews mention how fast my turnaround time is. It depends on you, and other clients. All clients are first come, first served. But, typically within 48 hours.
I’m making my own video, and it doesn’t look right. Can you look at it?
If you’re creating your own recruiting video, and have questions, I will gladly take a look at what you’ve done. I charge a $50 non-refundable deposit. If you decide to use my services, that $50 will be applied to the cost of your video.
